Who are we?

Skipton Ewes WI was formed in March 2016, the first group in Skipton to offer afternoon meetings to as an alternative to evening meetings.

We have a variety of members ranging from mid thirties to 60+ from all walks of life.

What do we do?

As a group we want to present a modern twist of the traditional WI, learning practical skills such as card making, flower arranging, and sewing, but also focusing on subjects relative to today’s women such as women's health, local community and wider global issues.

Each meeting there's a speaker or an activity as well as a chance to catch up with other members over a cup of tea and a slice of cake.

Where do we meet?

Each month we meet on the 3rd Tuesday @ 1pm in The Three Links Club in Skipton Town Centre.

How can I join?

We welcome new members to our meetings.  You are welcome to come along and 'try before you buy'.  If you would like to attend as a guest please email skiptoneweswi@gmail.com so that we can add your name to our guest list - the cost is £4 per meeting.
